1. Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abuse
Monalo is a journal for craft chocolate. To keep it welcoming, we have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behavior. The following are strictly prohibited anywhere in the app — tasting notes, profile fields, photos, display names, community posts, or any other user-generated content:
- Harassment, bullying, threats, hate speech, or discrimination on any basis.
- Sexual, pornographic, or sexually suggestive material.
- Violent, graphic, gory, or shocking content.
- Content that promotes self-harm, illegal activity, or dangerous behavior.
- Spam, scams, phishing, or impersonation of another person.
- Content that infringes on someone else’s intellectual property or privacy.
- Any other content a reasonable person would consider objectionable.
2. Moderation
We reserve the right to remove content and to restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these rules. Reports submitted through the in-app “Report” action are reviewed within a reasonable period based on their nature and severity, with urgent safety concerns prioritized. Content or accounts found to violate these rules may be removed or restricted. Repeat or severe violations may result in permanent account termination.
3. Report objectionable content
Every community post has a menu that lets you report it. Tap the “…” on a tasting post and choose “Report”. Tell us what’s wrong; we’ll review the report and take appropriate action when content or accounts violate these rules. You can also email clifalavp_85@outlook.com.
4. Block abusive users
You can block any user from a community post or profile actions. Blocking is instant: the blocked user’s posts disappear from your Community feed, and you can manage blocked accounts later in Profile. Blocking also flags the account for review.
5. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for everything you post. Only post content you have the right to share. Do not post other people’s personal information without permission.
6. Account termination
You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account. We may terminate accounts that violate these rules.
7. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what data we collect and how it’s used.
8. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties and limit our liability for indirect or consequential damages. Tasting notes and ratings are personal journal tools—not medical, nutritional, or purchasing advice.
